Plus that epic pirate's soundtrack sets the mood perfectly for adventuring on the high sea's.but let's wrap it up, final thoughts Baj? and the sword fighting is really well animated. This game looks and sounds great and I loved the way captain Jack runs with that swagger. But personally I can never be bothered going back and collecting all that stuff. You'll need to go back into levels in Free Play and use different characters in order to unlock everything so there's lots to do and lots of replayability. Yeah, LEGO games are all about collecting really, and just going through the campaign once isn't going to get you anywhere near all of the hundreds of collectibles. With enough of them you'll be able to expand the hub to discover new areas as well as spend those hard earned studs on new characters and various other goodies. Port Royal acts as your hub world and as you complete levels and collect collectibles you earn gold bricks. Indeed Darren, but of course all those thousands of studs aren't just for show. Yeah I know what you mean, and what could be more Piratey than running around smashing everything and collecting lots of Silver and gold?Īnd don't forget blue and the very rare purple studs Hex, they're worth the most. When I was a kid playing with the real life lego blocks it was always Pirate or Space sets? and I gotta say LEGO and Pirates just fit together like bread and butter. The fantastic drop in drop out co-op is here of course with its clever little adaptive split-screen which breaks apart and ties together as you move around. which is usually the next piece of the puzzle you need. and you'll need to use Captain Jack's trusty compass to show what he desires most. You'll be using all the characters from the films and their various special abilities to solve lots of simple but entertaining puzzles. That's a lot of LEGO.but anyway, this time around you get to play through LEGO-ised versions of all 4 of the Pirates films.and each film is made up of 5 levels that let you play through some of the more memorable moments. These include the four LEGO Star Wars games, LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Batman and two LEGO Indiana Jones games. even an MMO, the MAIN series of LEGO games all share this similar formula. You know Hex, there's been over 30 LEGO games to date and that's not including the Bionicle games. But if you've played one of the last major LEGO games then you know exactly what's on offer here. Robot or Spaceman.Įxactly!! Now to coincide with the Latest Pirates of the Caribbean film comes that rarest of beasts, the decent video game tie in. Guys, give it up, this is one of those never ending arguments. What!! No way the Pirate would definitely win. Look, who do you think would win in a fight DARREN, Pirate or Ninja? Therefore, it is in fact highly improbable that Pirates and Ninja's ever met. While both Ninja's and Pirates existed in the South East Asia Region during the 15th century, there are no authenticated reports of sea-faring Ninja's. Well we've looked at a Ninja LEGO game already but as we all know, where there's Ninja's.
